An active person who loves movement – from long-distance cycle-touring to hula hoop performance – Tessa was drawn to Pilates because it gave her the tools and awareness to use her body better. She loved mastering once-impossible movements under the guidance of instructors, and feeling new-found body awareness translate to stronger, more comfortable everyday movement. Eager to learn more Tessa gained her teaching qualifications through BASI Pilates, an international organisation based in California.
Tessa’s passion is for Pilates that translates into tangible improvements that you can feel and take home with you.
Since having a baby and experiencing the joys of parenthood, along with the changes it makes and challenges it poses to the body, Tessa has been drawn towards Pilates for women, and in particular the needs of post natal women.
