Mat class sizes vary but around 12 clients per group is ideal. Mat classes may also be taught on a 1:1 basis. Mat classes are a great way to fit a workout into your day!
In a mat class most exercises are performed lying down on the mat sometimes using small pieces of equipment such as a magic circle or resistance bands. However, it is your body working against gravity that provides the biggest challenge!
We offer mat classes for absolute beginners and progress right through to classes for more advanced clients.
We also offer specific classes for postnatal women to help their body recover after pregnancy, as well as a mums and bubs class where women are welcome to bring along their baby.
If you have an active injury studio classes may be more suitable for you. Our trained instructors can advise you which class would be best for you.
